Good luck to the Springfield Tigers at they travel to Twinsburg High School on Tuesday night to take on Creston Norwayne in the Division III Regional Semi-Final game at 8 PM. The Tigers advanced to the Regional Semi-Finals with a win over Pymatuning Valley 63-53 on Friday night. Norwayne advanced by winning its District title game over Apple Creek Waynedale 49-47 in overtime.
Earlier this year, these two schools played against each other in OHSAA football playoffs back on November 11th at Springfield. The Tigers were able to defeat Norwayne in a wild and fun game to watch 52-48. The Tigers scored a the winning touchdown with 5 seconds remaining on a trick play to send Springfield to the OHSAA State Semi-Final game.
Tonight’s winner will take on the winner of Youngstown Cardinal Mooney and Cleveland Heights Lutheran East game which tips off at 5:30 PM at Twinsburg High School. The Regional Final game will be played on Saturday at 5 PM at Twinsburg. Good luck to the Tigers at Regionals!
